Warranty & Product Assurance

Zaneti Guarantee Charter

3-Year Structural Warranty

Warranty coverage, structural assurance and consumer guarantees for Zaneti indoor and outdoor furniture.

Zaneti Warranty & Consumer Guarantees

Zaneti furniture is designed for residential and commercial environments, including hospitality and high-traffic settings. This page outlines our manufacturer warranties, structural coverage, finish warranties and your consumer rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Designed for long-term use: Zaneti focuses on durable metalwork, outdoor-rated finishes and practical repair pathways (parts and touch-ups) so your furniture can stay in service longer across homes, hospitality and public spaces.

Manufacturer Warranty Periods

In addition to rights under Australian Consumer Law, Zaneti provides the following manufacturer warranty periods from the original date of purchase. Warranty coverage applies when products are used in the environment and manner for which they are designed.

3 Years

Structural Warranty

Covers structural and functional components including welding, fasteners, rivets and mechanical mechanisms.

1 Year

Finish Warranty

Covers abnormal or premature deterioration of finishes where products are used and maintained in line with Zaneti care guidelines.

1 Year

Component Warranty

Covers specified components (for example selected bases and hardware elements) where applicable.

Important: Residential products are not warranted for commercial or high-traffic applications unless the product is specified as suitable for that use.

Warranty for Commercial & Hospitality Use

Zaneti commercial collections are engineered for durability in hospitality, workplace and public environments. Structural warranty coverage applies where products are specified and used in accordance with their intended commercial rating.

For commercial specifications and project support, visit our Hospitality & Commercial Projects page.

How to Lodge a Warranty Claim

If an item arrives with missing parts, is defective, or appears damaged during manufacture, please provide:

  • Proof of purchase (order number)
  • Clear photos or video showing the issue
  • A short note on where and how the product is used (indoor, outdoor, coastal, hospitality, etc.)

Contact your retailer first, or email us via Contact if you purchased online. Where possible, notify us within three (3) business days of delivery.

Assessment Outcomes

Where a claim is assessed and accepted, Zaneti may arrange one or a combination of the following remedies:

  • Supply of missing parts or replacement components
  • Guidance for self-repair (with compensation where appropriate)
  • Repair by a local tradesperson (with compensation where appropriate)
  • Replacement of the product (subject to availability)
  • Provision of an alternative product
  • Partial or full store credit or refund

Freight, Transport & Associated Costs

Where a warranty claim is accepted, remedies do not automatically include transport, freight, removal, reinstallation or associated labour costs.

At Zaneti’s discretion, assistance with transport or related costs may be provided in specific circumstances. Any such assistance is discretionary and does not create an ongoing obligation or precedent.

What Is Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage resulting from improper assembly, installation or modification
  • Damage arising from abnormal use, misuse, abuse or impact
  • Damage caused by improper or insufficient maintenance and care (including fabric, upholstery, leather or timber finishes)
  • Damage to packaging only
  • Damage occurring during customer-arranged transport or Click & Collect collection
  • Minor variations in dimensions, colour, grain or finish
  • Minor superficial imperfections or blemishes

Your Consumer Rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, please contact us with your name and order number and our team will assist.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Warranty FAQs

What does the Zaneti structural warranty cover?

The structural warranty covers functional and structural components such as welding, fasteners, rivets and mechanical mechanisms. Coverage applies from the date of purchase when the product is used as intended.

What does the finish warranty cover?

The finish warranty covers abnormal or premature deterioration of finishes (for example unusual fading) where the product has been used and maintained in line with Zaneti care recommendations. Normal wear, impact damage and incorrect cleaning are not covered.

For cleaning guidance, see Care & Maintenance Advice.

Is outdoor furniture covered in coastal or salty environments?

Outdoor products are treated for outdoor use, however highly saline environments can accelerate corrosion. Rinse furniture with fresh water where practical and keep to the care guidance for coastal settings.

For care steps, visit Care & Maintenance Advice.

Does warranty cover scratches, chips, or rust spots?

Impact and scratch damage is not a manufacturing defect, however prompt touch-up can prevent rust from spreading. Use Zaneti touch-up solutions where available and address any early rust with an appropriate anti-rust product before repainting.

Is indoor upholstery covered under warranty?

Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship. Upholstery and fabric issues caused by spills, harsh chemicals, incorrect cleaning, abrasion or misuse are not covered.

For upholstery care, see Care & Maintenance Advice.

Can I use residential furniture in a café, hotel, or other high-traffic space?

Residential products are not warranted for commercial or high-traffic applications. For fit-outs and public environments, select products specified for commercial or hospitality use.

See Hospitality & Commercial Projects for commercial specifications.

What do you need from me to assess a warranty claim?

Provide your proof of purchase, clear photos or video of the issue, and a short description of the usage environment (indoor/outdoor/coastal/hospitality). This helps us assess quickly and recommend the right remedy.

For next steps, use Contact.

Do you cover freight, removal, or reinstallation costs?

Remedies do not automatically include transport, freight, removal, reinstallation or associated labour costs. Assistance may be offered at Zaneti’s discretion in specific circumstances.

What happens if the same issue occurs again after a repair?

If a repaired product experiences the same fault and it relates to materials or workmanship, contact us with your original claim details. We will reassess and determine the most suitable remedy.

What is the difference between your manufacturer warranty and Australian Consumer Law?

The manufacturer warranty is an additional promise from Zaneti with stated coverage periods. Australian Consumer Law provides consumer guarantees that apply regardless of any manufacturer warranty and cannot be excluded.
